I’m what I like to call a “middle-of-the-road” mom. You know, the kind who’s not too strict but not too lenient, who cares about car seat safety, growth and development, and having a routine, but will also let my kid eat a little dirt at the playground or have snacks for dinner. My toddler eats at least one piece of dog food every time we feed our pups. I’ve told him it’s gross, but he just LOVES to pop a piece in his mouth and smile at me while he’s scooping. Hey, whatever, dude. The other side of that coin is that he says “please”, “thank you”, and can clear his own plate from the dinner table. Choose your battles, right?
This is us. One mom, one dad, two little boys, and two puppers. We’re just a regular family, doing our best to raise decent humans and have some fun along the way!
